I was offered a position due to start 2 weeks from my interview. I have proper notice to my current employer.

I kept contacting them regarding when my equipment would ship and i got different responses. Finally the day before my start Day,i was contacted and told it would be pushed back a week. The next week came and was pushed back again. In total i had 5 pushed back start dates and now unemployed due to putting my notice in.

I got behind On bills and lost my home. I was later contacted again by Sage with a different opportunity and stated i would need my own laptop. I was given a start date and someone will contact me the next day for my first day details. None called.

When i emails w and texted her that no one contacted me you start,i was ignored.

I have lost so much dealing with this company. When they could have just communicated and i would have been able to keep my good paying job and not lose everything

I was recruited BY Medix, ( I did NOT reach out to them) 11/13/23 for a position.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

11/13/23 I received an email from a Tom Cusack, from medix recruiting me for a position working with the IT departments in healthcare settings. Basically I would assists new hire CAT Scan Technologists learn there facilities patient tracking/billing software.

( I have been an X-Ray/CAT Scan Technologist over 30 years). I told Tom I had little to no IT experience. He assured me that was fine, they were looking for MY experience. After being nagged to take an aptitude test ( a colleague of his was supposed to email me the particulars to set up this test), I never received the email from this person.

Tom called me to ask when I was going to take the test, and when I explained I hadnt received an email from anyone other than him (he seemed annoyed and questioned me as though I was lying). that day HE emailed me the test information. I signed up within an hour of receiving his email, took the test within a few days, communicating with Tom along the way, and emailed him immediately after completing the test. It is now February 2024, and Ive never heard anything from Tom, or Medix.

Even if my test score was not what they needed, a simple email would be the right thing to do.

I have a job actually I have a career, over 30 years.

I am insulted that Medix wasted MY TIME. This company seems like a school project. I will warn anyone and everyone about my experience.

Ive never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Especially since THEY reached out to me.

My complaint, where should I start? I was contacted about a position that I was a good fit for.

I should mention that medix contacted me, I did not contact them. I am informed that I must complete all of my onboarding documents ASAP. I jump through their hoops as quickly as I can and complete all the necessary paperwork. Next up a drug screen, I am scheduled to take the screening in Connecticut, I live in Pennsylvania and the position is in Pennsylvania.

After getting that issue cleared up I am told to go to a testing site here in PA. While I am about to leave the house to go get the screening done I am told they sent me the wrong testing site, I am to go in the complete opposite direction to another site, glad I called them to confirm my appointment. Off to a great start and it gets worse. I was informed the position will start the first week of October 2021.

After rushing to get all the formalities handled on my end I am contacted again and was told by my recruiter that I wont start until November. I did get to start 11/01/2021 but that did not go smoothly either. The company I worked for who medix claimed was the one for all the mix up doesnt even have my workstation set up completely. I went two and a half almost three months without a phone or extension so I basically can not perform my job tasks.

Then less than a month later my contact emails me stating she is no longer my contact and I will be dealing with a new person. Ok fine I get it people move on to new and better things. I reach out to my new contact and explain that things are not going well and I do not have a phone at work and things are not going well at the position. I ask for a new assignment because I am disgusted with how the company I am placed at is treating me and that I do not seem to matter.

The new contact says they have no positions available. More like medix doesnt want to help and are just concerned with me making them money.

I stick it out with this position and in July 2022 I have another contact with medix. If you are counting that makes three contacts in less than a year. I again ask for another assignment which I have done several times.

Did I mention this was a 6 month contract and I am well beyond that point? I was not asked if I wanted to continue on and medix and the company just decided for me to extend the contract. Now Im 10 months in and still a temp. I want a new position at another company and tell medix this.

It is now august and I injure my back outside of work and have a pinched nerve.

I see a chiropractor who gives me a note stating I need to take the week off because I am in horrible pain. I return to my job the following week and work for about two hours until I cant take the pain anymore. I ask for the company to provide me with a lumbar support to see if that helps and they tell me I need a note from the doctor. I am sorry did I just not provide you a note for my absences?

Finally having enough I contact medix and tell them about the situation. I am informed the account manager will handle the situation and inquire as to why I am still a temp. I am instructed to not contact my manager at the site and to let them handle it. I am terminated due to a miscommunication, thats funny because when I stopped communicating after being told to do so I am now out of a job.

Way to go medix now I am screwed physically and monetarily. Do not use the joke of a staffing agency.

This company is a no-go! They lie on you and try to ruin your reputation. They dont care about you as the hard worker that you are. Their only concern is being paid, because of the work that you put in, no matter the unfairness! BEWARE of them! You deserve better! If I could give them 0 for customer service, I would ;/

Not a good company

They are taking NY city taxes from me even though I live and worked for them in NJ. Messages were left and no one has responded or answered the phone so now I guess I have to go in person. Smh what a sad way to do business.

Same here! I went through the interviewing process.

I took a lot of assessments. Took drug test and even filled out an access form to start the job. So much of my time went into this. I even quit my 15 hour part time job to take this 6 month contract work.

This was back in July. I didn't start in August like I was told and it is now September 11th (2 months later) and I have yet to be placed with the job. I'm starting to think that i have all of my personal information to a false company. The amount of forms you have to fill out and then nothing is totally unprofessional.

i have had to contact my recruiter every week and all I get is "I am still fighting with that company on getting everyone a start date". I don't know if that is true anymore.

I have since moved on looking on my own. I don't recommend depending on this company for any type of work.

Blown Off Client

I met with Amanda at Medix in Sept. 2017. The meeting seemed very positive as she explained how recruitment works (all that follows if/when they found me a job). At the end of the meeting, she concluded by telling me she would send me all the information via email, as well as some new opportunities she knew of. Never heard from her again. A couple months later, I heard of an opportunity through my school's career center (which was shared by Medix), so I contacted Amanda again about it. No response. I understand companies like this not wanting to work with certain people, but simply not responding seems very unprofessional.

The worst staffing agency you can encounter. Once you have applied previously in a company they will shut you off and can't help you. In other words they can't represent you. This agency should be shut down. There are people who are struggling to find a job and they will not bend their backs to help you. Please do not apply here. I know God has a better job for me.

Like many others I was given a pay rate . But when I looked at my check it was much lower . I reached out to my staffing agent and they explained that this was the offer they gave . Not necessarily the hourly wage I will recieve . Months go by and I'm told sorry no one explained that this was an offer . The paper work even says hourly rate . Company is a waste they don't look for good workers they look for cheap labor .

If you have something in writing that states your payrate, I would contact the Labor Board, file with your Consumer Protection Division of your state's Attorney General's Office and take them to small claims court, if necessary.

I've been on two assignments with Medix now; both temp-to-hire positions. The first they quoted me much lower pay-rate than what paperwork showed from hiring company, wouldn't provide me with username and password to log hours until I complained repeatedly and threatened to quit & were repeatedly rude and nonresponsive to questions, clarification or concerns. My first assignment, I was"let go" a day shy of my hire date and my second assignment...all the same BS of first assignment. Employer said Medix was like hiring from a fraternity house...they were bunch of men who didnt care and goofed off all day, even though I did a great job they just didn't want to continue working with Medix in Denver because they gave the impression they were incompetent and that the clients and employers were not as important as them having a good time and not getting any work done!!

I sure wish I had done my research about this company and their clients before I accepted this job with them. If straight out of high school people they want to continue to recycle bend for CHEAP LABOR then that is all they should seek.

NO ONE LIVES IN A TEMPORARY LIFESTYLE WHERE JOBS JUST LET YOU GO WITHOUT ANY KIND OF NOTICE. Who does that? Really?

These companies surely doesn't know the sacrifices people even make these days to even get a job and then to be treated like *** because they decided that this job was a good job or hadn't been working.

Medix Staffing Solutions - Job Application Review

They sent me to the Valley hospital NJ. Three days I worked hard there, staff were super nice with me, but the manager was not a friendly person to begin with. I asked to change my shift to another shift which they offered me first day. She checked the schedule and then she decided it didn't work for them then instead of talking to me she called Medix and complained that I'm not a right fit. After working hard all day on my way home I received a call from Medix that hospital didn't want me, so do not return to work tomorrow. Really? After all that interview trips medical check up for tuberculosis etc. No wonder why that job ad is running for months and months. Pay rate was too low as compared to the market. Hospitals hire through them, because it's easier for them to let you go whenever they think their budget or schedule doesn't work well. Also, because they don't want to offer you any benefits. If you need a serious job then don't rely on agencies.

I had a terrible experience with Medix. The recruiter was demeaning, manipulative, and not up front about the jobs that were offered. He said I was not fit to work in several companies even though I know I am and have the potential to do so. After going through my resume and knowing I went to a great research University for 4 years he gave me jobs meant for high school students. I felt like he didn't listen to what I had to say. After all this I gave him other idea's of jobs he can contact me about. He said he would call me an hour after the interview and never did.

WOW, I'm now seeing this. Similar experience in New Jersey. I was called before 7am on a Friday morning. I'm always submitting my resume to Medix positions by the way. So about a 15 minute phone call the Medix rep assured me she had several opportunities lined up for someone with my experience. The next step was for her to email me out an info / registration packet. Monday afternoon after checking spam more than once I call and ask for her only to get the VM and run around. Finally getting through she seemed shocked, reviewed my info to assure it was correct saying she'd get the info "Right out to me" now I know I'm very qualified for all the positions I was interested in. Needless to say, I never received any email, nor a phone call from Medix. However I always still see available positions that I qualify for and I apply. Some of them seem as if they just change the date. I don't know what it is. I was thinking maybe they really don't have these positions??? However, a relative of mine actually got an interview. A Medix Rep interviewed her in a Playground stating he didn't have room in the office so if she didn't mind meeting her in a local playground. I swear the most awkward thing ever. She didn't mindvsonce their NJ office is a real hike from this area. After that meeting, she's a certified biller with Several years experience she Never heard from them again... Something is not right with Medix!
